When a quilter "goes scrappy" in a quilt, it means that they have incorporated various scrap pieces of material they have laying around. Sometimes we use scraps because we've run out of the material we meant to use, and sometimes we do it because simply because it's fun. In this lap/throw sized quilt I went to scrap heaven, using only 2 1/2" inch squares of nearly every fabric in my stash. I love it because it is bright and sunshiny and a true reflection of how I feel when I am in my studio completely immersed in the process of making. There is a method to my madness, though. Can you spot the pattern?
